Watermelon with Gold Button Detail

Another coral outfit for Her Majesty, a watermelon coat with gold-tone buttons with a matching hat by Rachel Trevor Morgan, featuring an oversized rose detail. It was debuted fairly recently, during the Diamond Jubilee tour of the UK, on a visit to Chester on 17 May 2012. The yellow gold Frosted Sunflower brooch picked up the gold of the buttons:

 

On 1 October 2013, the Queen chose this cheerful outfit for a visit to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, accessorising with her Thistle brooch:

 

Later that month, on 29 October 2013, the Queen and the Duchess of Cornwall visited Ebony Horse Club in Brixton, and we saw a repeat of the coat and Frosted Sunflower brooch combo:

This look was then chosen for the Commonwealth Observance service at Westminster Abbey on 10 March 2014. when the Frosted Sunflower brooch was again repeated:
