Forest Green Dress and Jacket

A forest green dress and jacket; the jacket is collarless and trimmed in matching silk, as is the dress The hat is of the same material as the dress, and has a large silk sash and side bow.
So far this look has only been worn for engagements in Scotland, first on 1 September 2007, to attend the annual Braemar Highland Gathering, when it was accessorised with the gold Braemar Feather brooch:

Then, on 1 November 2007, the Queen selected the dress and jacket to bid farewell to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at the end of his State visit to Britain. The Delhi Durbar carved emerald brooch was worn:

This made another appearance a full seven years later, on 14 September 2014, when the Queen stopped to talk to well-wishers after church, outside Crathie Kirk on the Balmoral Estate, just ahead of the Scottish Independence referendum. On this occasion, it was worn with a floral brooch in the Tutti Frutti style. Close-up of the brooch is from Angela Kelly's book "Dressing the Queen - A Jubilee Wardrobe":
