The first appearance for this daisy print silk dress and jacket with matching daisy trimmed white straw hat came on 17 June 2004, Ladies' Day at the Royal Ascot races. The Queen accessorized her jacket with the Duchess of Cambridge's Pearl Pendant brooch:
We saw the dress worn on its own a number of years later, on 2 June 2011, when it was worn for a ceremony at Buckingham Palace, during which the Queen presented Corporal Dipprasad Pun from the 1st Battalion the Royal Gurkha Rifles with the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross:
