Dove Grey Coat and Feathered Hat

The Queen first wore this outfit, comprised of a dove grey coat with shawl collar, matching dress and beret-style hat trimmed with a single side feather and button detail, on 27 November 2012 for the ceremonial welcome of the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait at Windsor Castle. Her Majesty accessorized with her pink Williamson diamond brooch:

Incidentally, this is a hat style reminiscent of one worn by the Queen's grandmother, Queen Mary, in the 1930s:

A look at the dress:

This outfit was worn again for church at Sandringham, on 27 January 2013, paired with the Queen's sapphire and diamond grapes brooch:

The Queen wore the dress on its own on 10 March 2015, when she received the President of Sri Lanka Mr Maithripala Sirisena at Buckingham Palace. The Sri Lankan Flower Spray brooch can be clearly seen pinned to Her Majesty's lapel:

The highest profile appearance in this outfit so far came on 8 May 2015, on the 70th anniversary of VE Day, marking the German surrender and thus the end of hostilities in Europe in 1945. In Windsor Great Park, the Queen lit the first of more than 200 beacons of remembrance and celebration across the country, sporting this grey ensamble and her Boucheron aquamarine and diamond clips (oh, and a patriotic red, white and blue bouquet!):

On 17 March 2016, the Queen repeated this look for the official opening of the Land of the Lions enclosure at the London Zoo (Daily Mail article here). She wore the Greville Scroll brooch:

Incidentally, the Duke of Edinburgh gave a nod to his role as President Emeritus of the WWF by wearing a tie adorned with pandas:
