Fuchsia Lightweight Coat with White Trim and Matching Straw Hats

This outfit is comprised of a block-colour fuchsia lightweight cover up with large white trimming
and a white and fuchsia silk dress with a geometric pattern. Two hats go with this outfit, both made of fuchsia straw; one is a toadstoll trimmed with a large fuchsia silk rose and white feathers, the other has a partially upturned brim and is trimmed with white and fuchsia bow loops and two fuchsia quills.

The Queen wore this ensamble with the first hat on 15 May 2008, on a visit to Kabatas School in Istanbul, before embarking on a boat trip down the river Bosphorus during a State visit to Turkey. An unidentified floral brooch was used:

The second hat debuted the following year on the second day of Royal Ascot, on 17 June 2009. This time the Queen wore the Cullinan V brooch:

On 4 June 2011, the Queen repeated the look to the Epsom Derby (Daily Mail article here). This time she accessorized with one of Queen Victoria's bow brooches:

The Queen wore this outfit again on 6 May 2016, on a visit to Berkhamsted School in Hertfordshire, on the occasion of its 475th anniversary (Daily Mail article here). She accessorized with her pink topaz and diamond brooch:

Angela Kelly Double-Breasted Fuchsia Coat and Flat-Crown Hat

This Angela Kelly look is made up of a double-breasted fuchsia wool coat and a flat-crown, flat-brim fuchsia felt hat trimmed with feathers and silk tulips; the brim contrasts the rest of the hat, being lavender grey. So far we haven't had a clear look at the dress worn underneath.

This outfit, accessorised with a diamond brooch in the shape of a sprig of roses, was debuted on 17 April 2014, when the Queen took part in the traditional Maundy Thursday service at Blackburn Cathedral:

Exactly a year later, on 17 April 2015, the Queen selected the look again on for the Newbury horse races. No brooch was worn:

The Queen was seen crossing her fingers as her horse, Ring of Truth, galloped home, although eventually she came in second place:

On 13 March 2017, the Queen, seen below with Louise Martin, President of the Commonwealth Games Federation, repeated the look to launch the XXI Commonwealth Games baton relay outside Buckingham Palace (Daily Mail article here). She wore the gold trellis brooch:

Festive in Fuchsia

The Queen looked striking on Christmas Day 2014 in a new fuchsia ensamble with magenta accents by Angela Kelly, topped off with a matching hat timmed with two magenta feathers and accessorised with the Tudor Rose brooch:

This striking look was repeated just a few months later, on 20 March 2015, when the Queen visited Plymouth to attend the re-dedication of helicopter carrier HMS Ocean, choosing for the occasion the HMS Ocean badge, a gift from the Captain and officers of the ship:

On 5 November 2015, the Queen repeated the look on a visit to Imjin Barracks in Glocestershire (Daily Mail article here). This time Her Majesty selected the Grima ruby and gold brooch to complement her look:

On 3 March 2016, this outfit was recycled on a visit to Lister Community School in East London (Daily Mail article here). She accessorized with her pink topaz and diamond brooch:

On 19 January 2017, the Queen wore the outfit, minus the hat, to attend a Women's Institute meeting at West Newton village hall (Daily Telegraph article here). She listened to a talk by the royal historian Lucy Worsley over tea and biscuits and wore her red flower posy brooch:
