Purple Wool Crepe Angela Kelly Coat with Velvet Trim, Iris-Trimmed Hat

The Queen honoured the 60th anniversary of Duke of Edinburgh's Award, started by her husband in 1956, with the debut of a new outfit to the Service of Thanksgiving that was held at Westminster Abbey on 24 November 2016 (Daily Mail article here).

The Angela Kelly outfit comprises a wool crepe outfit in bright purple, with purple velvet trim at the neck, cuffs and pockets and purple-covered buttons, a hat covered in the same purple fabric and accented with a dark purple velvet hatband and trimmed with a mass of purple edged white silk iris blooms, green silk leaves and purple felt curling leaves. Just visible underneath Her Majesty's coat is a silk dress in a grey and cream checked pattern, interspersed with purple flowers. For this first outing, the Queen accessorized with the Kent amethyst brooch:

On 7 April 2017, the Queen repeated the look for another engagement at Westminster, a Service of Thanksgiving held at St Margaret's Church in honour of the late Lord Snowdon, Princess Margaret's former husband (Daily Mail article here). This time the Queen opted for her amethyst bouquet brooch:

Flowery Angela Kelly Ensamble

This double-breasted lavender coat, floral silk dress and straw hat with dark purple bow and flower trim to one side, all by Angela Kelly was first worn on 20 June 2013, Ladies' Day at Royal Ascot, a particularly happy day for the Queen as her horse, Estimate, won the Gold Cup, a first for a reigning monarch. The Kent Amethyst brooch nicely complemented the lavender hue of the coat:

This lovely ensamble was repeated about a year later, on 21 May 2014, for a Buckingham Palace garden party, this time accessorised with the Carrington Sapphire Feather brooch:

It's impossible to be sure, due to the low resolution of the images available, but I'm convinced this silk dress the Queen wore on 23 July 2014 to receive the Governor General of Grenada, Dame Cecile La Grenade, at Buckingham Palace is the one from this look - the colour and pattern seem to match, although higher resolution pics are definitely called for!

Mulberry Hued Tweed and Philip Somerville Hat

This is an outfit that dates back quite some time, with a coat of mulberry tweed with hidden buttons and a matching hat by Philip Somerville, sporting a geometric black ribbon detailing. The dress has a paisley print in coordinating shades.
The Queen wore it to the Commonwealth Observance service at Westminster Abbey on 10 March 2003, with the City of London Lily brooch:

 

On 4 October 2005, the Queen repeated this look, complete with City of London Lily brooch, for a visit to Aberdeen Children's Hospital:

 

 

The Queen chose to forgo the hat, opting instead for a silk scarf in coordinating colours, when she attended the Chelsea Flower Show on 22 May 2006. The Jardine Star brooch completed the look:

 

A few months later, on 6 October 2006, the Queen repeated this look to review three Home Service Battalions of the Royal Irish Regiment at the Balmoral showgrounds in Belfast, Northern Ireland (The Daily Telegraph has an article on the engagement here). The Queen wore her Amethyst Bouquet brooch:

On 23 February 2007, the Queen visited Moorfields Eye Hospital in London to open the new Children's Eye Centre and the Drapers' Company in the City of London, choosing the Drapers' Company badge, a brooch with their coat of arms:

 

Incidentally, a huge Garfield soft toy was present at Moorfields (seen below is Peter Andre watching his son Junior play at the event). I just had to include a photo here as I'm a huge Garfield fan! :)

On 29 November 2007, the Queen repeated this look for a visit to Milton Keynes, where she visited the newly-built The Hub, a mixed-use development with a central piazza. One of Queen Victoria's bow brooches was used:

 

On 3 November 2009, the Queen selected this outfit for a visit to the London 2012 Olympic Park construction site in Stratford, East London (below, Her Majesty with Mayor of London Boris Johnson). She accessorized her look with the Kent Amethyst brooch:

 

 

On 8 January 2012, the Queen repeated this look for the traditional Sunday morning church service at St Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham Estate, topping it off with the Amethyst Bouquet brooch:

A Much-Loved Rachel Trevor Morgan Hat and Purple Double-Breasted Stweart Parvin Coat

This is an often-repeated coat and hat combo, in aubergine wool with black velvet accents. The outfit is by Stewart Parvin, while the hat is a Rachel Trevor Morgan design, which appears to have been slightly altered over the years.
This look first appeared back on 11 November 2009, for a Remembrance Day service at Westminster Abbey, accessorised with the oversized Queen Mary Dorset Bow brooch and the traditional sprig of poppies:

On 3 March 2010 the outfit was recycled for the ceremonial welcome of President Jacob Zuma of South Africa at the start of his 3-day State visit to the UK. On this occasion we first saw the dress that goes with this look, which features the same gold button symmetrical detailing of the coat:

This ensamble, minus the hat and with the addition of the Frosted Sunflower brooch, reappeared later that year during the annual Christmas Broadcast, on 25 December 2010:

On 22 March 2011, we got a clearer view of the matching dress usually hidden beneath this coat, when the Queen received General David Petraeus for an audience at Buckingham Palace:

On 25 October 2012, at the opening of the Jubilee Gardens on the South Bank in London, the hat brim appeared noticeably smaller and the placement of the coat buttons appeared different as well, with the top two next to the lapel having been removed. It was a rainy day, so a purple-edged umbrella was called for. No brooch:

A month later, on 26 November 2012, the look was repeated on a visit to the Household Cavalry at Combermere Barracks, near Windsor. Predictably, the Household Cavalry badges were worn:

The Queen was once again pretty in purple when attending church in West Newton, Norfolk, on 3 February 2013. Again, no brooch - this seems to be an outfit that doesn't lend itself much to the showing off of jewellery!

A few months later, on 13 May 2013, it was worn again at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, this time aptly accessorised with the Kent amethyst brooch:

Later that year, on 21 November 2013, the Queen wore this outfit again on a visit to Southwark Cathedral in London, this time accessorising with her amethyst bouquet brooch:

Later the same day, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh visited the Shard, the tallest building in Western Europe:

It was seen again in public more than a year later, when the Queen wore it for a pre-Christmas church service at St Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham Estate on 21 December 2014. The Kent amethyst brooch was used again, althought it can't be seen clearly in the photo below:

On 27 February 2015, we got another look at the dress, when the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh received the King and Queen of Tonga at Windsor Castle. The FEI (Fédération Équestre Internationale - International Federation for Equestrian Sports) Lifetime Achievement brooch can be just seen amid the gold buttons:

On 21 October 2015, the Queen wore the coat and dress for a quick afternoon appearance at the Royal Mews in Buckingham Palace, where the famous horse whisperer Monty Roberts was giving a demonstration (Daily Mail article here). No brooch was used:

On 15 January 2017, the Queen repeated the look to attend church at St Mary the Virgin in Flitcham, on the edge of the Sandringham estate in Norfolk (Daily Mail article here). Again, no brooch:
