Orchid Tweed Coat by Karl Ludwig and Pom Pom-Trimmed Hat by Angela Kelly

On 3 March 2017, the Queen debuted a new Karl Ludwig outfit and Angela Kelly hat on a visit to the Royal Welsh Regiment at Lucknow Barracks in Tidworth, Wiltshire, of which she is Colonel-in-Chief, to mark St David's Day (Daily Mail article here).

The outfit is comprised of a diamond-patterned tweed coat, block-colour cerise dress and orchid felt hat finished with a triple looped bow and three purple, grey and cerise pompoms on the side.

For this engagement, the Queen accessorized with the Royal Welsh regimental brooch:

Lilac Karl Ludwig Outfit with Multicoloured Accents

This colourful outfit, perfect for the warmer months, is comprised of a v-neck, collarless, double-breasted coat in lilac crepe, a silk dress in a slightly warmer shade of lilac, with a multi-coloured floral print, both by Karl Ludwig, and a lilac straw Angela Kelly hat trimmed with a large twirl of multi-coloured straw ribbons and feathers on one side.

This look was debuted on 19 June 2009, Day 4 of Royal Ascot. The Queen accessorized it with the large diamond City of London Lily brooch and cream leather handbag and shoes:

 

Almost exactly a year later, on 11 June 2010, the Queen repeated it to attend Trooping the Colour. The Household Cavalary badge, as usual, was worn to the event:

On 3 July 2014, after a spell out of the public eye, the outfit reappeared, worn to a commemorative service for the Scottish National War Memorial at Edinburgh Castle, during Holyrood Week (Daily Mail article here). This time the Queen paired it with the diamond six-petal flower brooch:

On 5 July 2015, the Queen wore it again to attend church at St Mary Magadalene on the Sandringham estate a few hours before the christening of her great-granddaughter Princess Charlotte of Cambridge (Daily Mail article here). Aptly, the Cambridge Pearl Pendant brooch was worn:

Cerise Karl Ludwig Outfit and Matching Angela Kelly Hat

This outfit is comprised of a single-breasted coat in cerise crepe with transparent resin buttons and shawl collar, a silk dress in a minute floral print in shades of pink, both by Karl Ludwig and a hat byu Angela Kelly with a cerise straw brim and a crown covered in matching fabric, trimmed with a small bow, pink fabric flowers and feathers dyed cerise.

It was debuted on 20 June 2014, Day 4 of Royal Ascot, when the Queen paired it with the Saskatchewan Tourmaline Flower brooch:

 

On 4 July 2015, the Queen repeated the look on a visit to RAF Reserves 603 Squadron in Edinburgh, to mark the 90th anniversary of the Squadron's formation (Daily Mail article here). Her Majesty wore her Royal Auxiliary Air Force Badge:

 

 

The Queen repeated this look for another racing engagement on 14 May 2016, when she attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show. She wore the rarely-seen gold lacework brooch. She is seen below congratulating American show jumping athlete Kent Farrington after his win in the Kingdom of Bahrain Stakes for the King's Cup:

 

 

The Queen repeated the look on 12 June 2016 to attend the Patron's Lunch, a special street party held along The Mall to celebrate the Queen's patronage of over 600 charities and organisations on the occasion of her 90th birthday (Daily Mail article here). She wore one of Queen Victoria's bow brooches. The Queen was seen beforehand popping her head around a curtain to inspect the weather:

 

 

 

 

 

Royal Blue Karl Ludwig Outfit and Angela Kelly Feather Trimmed Hat

Another look debuted at Royal Ascot, on 17 June 2015, this royal blue silk crêpe coat with floral silk dress is by couturier Karl-Ludwig Rehse. The matching hat, covered in royal blue crepe, with a white sinamay, trimmed with white flowers and blue feathers trimmed in the shape of fern leaves, is by Angela Kelly (Daily Mail article here).

For its first appearance on Day 2 of the meeting, the Queen accessorized with Queen Victoria's sapphire and diamond brooch, a wedding present from Prince Albert:

 

 

 

 

 

Karl Ludwig Navy Honeycomb Coat and Rose Print Dress, Angela Kelly Straw Hat

This outfit sees an interesting change, as Her Majesty chose to have a different colour silk bloom placed in her hat to wear on different occasions.

The first appearance of this look was on 21 October 2014, when the Queen, along with other members of the Royal Family, welcomed the President of Singapore, Tony Tan Keng Yam and his wife to Britain for the first ever official visit to the UK by a Singaporean President.
The Queen chose this navy blue honeycomb coat with shawl collar and silk dress with a pink roses print on navy blue background, both by Karl Ludwig Couture, topped off with a navy straw creation by Angela Kelly, trimmed with a large pink silk rose to match the print of the dress. For this first appearance in this outfit, the Queen accessorized with one of Queen Victoria's diamond bow brooches:

The Queen repeated this look on 10 May 2015, for a Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey to mark the 70th anniversary of Victory in Europe (link to the Daily Mail article here). For this more sombre occasion, the Queen opted to have the pink rose in her hat swapped in favour of more muted white blooms, in the form of two silk lilies.

This suit in a dull acid green pinstripe fabric with oversized jacket and silk cuffs and lapel by Karl Ludwig, plus straw Philip Somerville hat trimmed with a silk side bow was chosen for the Epsom Derby on 21 June 2002, paired with the Jardine Star brooch:
